Free Software to Assist in Webcasting Projects

FTP Software

If you have large PowerPoint files that need to be part of the webcast, you can transfer them easily to us by using free FTP software. Simply move your files from the left window pane (your computer) to the right window pane (our server). We will provide simple instructions and FTP codes so you can connect to our server. We recommend: Filezilla

Webcast Recording Software

You can record any live or on-demand (archived) webcast directly onto your computer so that you can watch it offline at your convenience. We recommend: RealPlayer

Silverlight

This new system allows live and recorded webcasting over both Windows and MAC computers without the need for each group to use different software. This universal application permits Windows Media webcasting through a flash player which works with a wide range of browsers and operating systems. A quick installation may be needed of the free silverlight application. Download Silverlight.
