Site Technical Requirements

The following technical services and components must be in place at the location of the webcast. We will work directly with the hotel, A/V vendor and other providers to ensure these requirements are met.

1. High Speed Ethernet Connection with NO outbound firewall: A high speed connection that provides at least 400 KBPS upload speed must be available. Wireless is not acceptable. The connection must not have any outbound firewall that could block the stream. An unsecured line is required.

2. Media box or audio mixer with mic output: To tap into the room's public address system, the webcaster must have access to a media box or audio mixer with microphone level output (line output will not work) via XLR or phono connection. If a media box or mixer is not available, use a microphone taped to a speaker in the room. Plug the mic into the camera and not the computer.
