Live Streaming Kit with Windows Media Publishing Point

 

 

Self-serve webcasting allows audio/video experts, web developers, videographers and other professionals to affordably provide professional live webcasting for their clients.

For a fee of $300, you'll receive a Windows Media publishing point kit so that you can webcast to a worldwide audience of up to 300 connections simultaneously. The account is valid for 14 days. The kit consists of the server address and publishing point, secure server pass codes, an HTML embed code to insert the live webcast onto your web site (or several web sites at the same time), a testing web page and a web page that will show you how many people are connected to your webcast.

The software also enables you to record the webcast(s) onto your computer so you can upload the archive files later onto YouTube or your server.

Order online and start broadcasting. You should allow at least one full week before a scheduled webcast so you have sufficient time to test the account.

A. START BY DOWNLOADING THE FREE ENCODING SOFTWARE

Download the free Windows Media encoder. The free encoding software is useless without the server information you will receive with your publishing point kit.

B. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE NECESSARY HARDWARE

You will need a PC with at least 2 GB of RAM (3 or more is recommended), a camera (or cameras with a video mixer) and appropriate audio equipment. Expertise in audio/video equipment is essential. We do not suggest what equipment to purchase or recommend how to connect hardware.

By placing an order, you agree:

1. To follow the instructions provided in the PDF file.
2. Not to webcast at a bit rate any higher than 350 KBPS.
3. Not to contravene any laws or webcast obscene material.
4. That Galbraith Communications is not liable for any problems or issues that may arise in relation to the use of its webcast account and that you take 100 per cent responsibility for all equipment, content, and any and all aspects of using the publishing point kit.

D. ORDER YOUR KIT

1. Just email us requesting a kit.
2. We'll then send you a paypal link for online payment.
3. Once payment is confirmed, we'll email you the kit within 48 hours. It's usually the same day unless we're very busy.
