1. Independent Internet to broadcast out: GC Webcasting does not require government networks to webcast from your offices, avoiding the need for your IT department to alter the security settings on your network. Instead, we use our own portable Internet modems or we can webcast from outside of government offices, such as our own studio, business centres or hotels.
2. Receiving live webcasts inside government: We will work with your IT department to ensure all of your departmental offices can receive live webcasts. A special code is used on our hosted pages which transfers the signal to within your government firewalled network. In this way, your network remains completely secure but can still receive our live webcasts.
3. Addressing government bandwidth: Your departmental network is likely to have a bandwidth cap. To ensure the network is not stressed, we can calculate the maximum number of viewers and set the registration to close at that point. Your network bandwidth is then protected.
