Applications
G-Meeting is designed for online meetings and training for groups
no larger than 15 people. While G-Meeting includes useful work collaboration
tools, such as file sharing and a copy-and-paste whiteboard, it is
not intended as an advanced work collaboration tool. There are other
systems on the market designed specifically for that purpose.
G-Meeting was also not designd to be a one-size-fits-all technology
and therefore does not directly compete with other web conferencing
systems on the market. Instead, it was created to meet the specific
needs of organizations that require multi-language communication.
This is a weakness of most other conferencing systems and a strength
of G-Meeting.
We developed not only the technology to enable real-time simultaneous
translation of online events, but also created a service that provides
interpreters who have been trained to use our system. Our primary
target audience is therefore organizations that need to conduct business
in more than one language, such as governments, exporters and international
groups.
Features
G-Meeting favors reliability over features. This means that we have
deliberately reduced the number of advanced features to maximize performance
and reliability. Our clients have told us they would rather have a
few essential features that perform well than many features that can
make the system unstable and complicated.
G-Meeting is a basic but high-performing system designed to work well
at high speeds on up-to-date computers.
